Throughout its 88 years of operation, Rheem has consistently given back to organizations that play an important role in our communities. Just last year, the company donated to approximately 130 nonprofit organizations across North America.
Heart of Comfort will reshape the concept of comfort – showing the role that heating, cooling and water heating plays in creating safe and enjoyable indoor environments. Rheem is the only company with the resources and know-how to lead such an initiative.
Rheem created the Heart of Comfort program to unify all of Rheem’s charitable giving across North America. The effort will bring together the company’s compassionate employees; robust lines of heating, cooling and water heating solutions; and financial resources to strengthen our focus on charitable giving.
Q: What is the Rheem Heart of Comfort program?
A: The Heart of Comfort program is the philanthropic arm of Rheem. The program is designed to address causes that are important to our employees and customers, as well as our communities. Ever since the founding of Rheem in 1925, the company has been an advocate of supporting organizations that make a difference in the lives of others—and that tradition has continued today. Over the past six years, we’ve contributed nearly $2 million to nonprofit organizations.
Q: What does Heart of Comfort Support?
A: Heart of Comfort is designed to let our employees guide the causes that we support by making sure we’re able to help organizations they’re passionate about. It’s also set up to help nonprofits that can use the products we make—efficient heating, cooling and water heating systems—to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Finally, Rheem has longstanding relationships with a number of organizations such as the United Way, the American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity and more, and we plan to strengthen our ties with these groups through Heart of Comfort.
Q: How can I request Rheem’s support for an organization that I know?
A: As you can imagine, Rheem is asked to contribute to many worthy causes and unfortunately, we are not able to support them all. We tend to concentrate our giving to those organizations in which our employees or customers have a significant presence. Organizations that would like to reach out to Rheem with a charitable request may do so by contacting us.
